Overview:
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing large, air-cooled heat exchanger products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. Supervising material flow, assembly and testing of heat exchanger bundle and final assembly.

  • Supervision of the department employees. Provide information and guidance to maximize the potential of each employee.
  • Manage the work orders load paying attention to the schedule.
  • Participate in the assembly of coolers, signs into the labor app to record jobs daily.

  • Supervise assembly of heat exchanger bundles including bundle layout, tubing, rolling and hydrostatic testing.
  • Supervise final assembly and testing of heat exchanger including bundle, structural components and drive components (motors and props).

The Assembly Team Lead will oversee daily operations of the assembly teams responsible for completing and finalizing heat exchanger bundles and related components. This role ensures that all assembly activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. The Team Lead acts as the primary point of contact between production staff, quality assurance, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Final Assembly and Bundle Assembly teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and provide on-the-job training and guidance to assembly technicians.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and engineering specifications.
  • Interpret and communicate blueprints, work instructions, and bill of materials to assembly personnel.
  • Verify assembly alignment, fit, and torque requirements for tube bundles, frames, and final product configurations.
  • Oversee installation of finned tubes, tube sheets, headers, gaskets, and other components as part of the final build process.
  • Inspect and sign off on completed assemblies prior to quality control review or shipment.

As a Designer at Hayden Industrial, you will be responsible for responsible for creating 3D CAD models and piece part drawings using Inventor.

Overview:

Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Welder to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in industrial equipment manufacturing, specifically for high-performance air-cooled heat exchangers. This role requires proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques, along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise assembly. The Welder must maintain high-quality standards and adhere to safety protocols while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welding and Fabrication:

  • Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel components, including:
    • Tube to Plate
    • Plate to Plate
    • Pipe to Plate
    • General structural steel components.
  • Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment proficiently.
  • Ensure proper setup of welding machines and tools before initiating work.
  • Maintain proper welding certifications and perform pressure testing on completed units.
  • Conduct welding repairs as needed while maintaining quality and safety standards.


Quality Control and Inspection:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to ensure welding accuracy.
  • Conduct visual inspections and pressure testing to confirm structural integrity.
  • Work closely with quality control personnel to address any defects or non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ASME and other industry welding standards.


Maintenance and Equipment Care:

  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery.
  • Follow all company policies and adhere to safety programs, including PPE usage and hazard awareness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent safety hazards.


Production and Collaboration:

  • Follow production schedules and report work progress to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and production teams to optimize welding processes.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.


Hayden Industrial has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”) effective August 29th, 2019.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior ASME welding experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of Mig, Tig, Flux, and Pulse welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience with welding carbon steel and stainless-steel materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Supervisor Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment:

Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, (paint masks, respirator, when required) and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking, the ability to reach, ascend/descend ladders, bend, kneel, and stoop. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
