Our compact Temp-Troller® (100 and Jumbo Series) ASME Code heat exchangers optimize liquid-to-air heat transfer for hazardous environments where greater factors of safety are required, such as in power generation and petrochemical facilities. Typical applications include oil cooling for gas turbines, generators, and compressors.

Our ASME Code heat exchangers are distinguished by several design features:

  • Mechanically expanded SwirlFlow turbulator within each thin-wall, stainless steel tube increases heat transfer efficiency by as much as 550% over bare tube heat exchangers
  • Stainless steel D-shaped headers reduce weight over conventional rectangular headers as well as improve structural integrity
  • Compact, high efficiency design minimizes installation space and shipping costs
  • Fully welded tube-to-header construction offers maintenance-free operation as well as improved strength
  • Enclosures surround the square aluminum finned heat exchanger cores to enhance heat transfer performance
  • Core guards protect the continuous rippled fins.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 700 PSI
  • Maximum operating temperature of 350°F

Options include core guards for added fin protection, fitting variations, and any other Fin-Cool® option. Carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper ASME units are available. Multi-circuit units are also available.

An optional in-house Ameron® 3-coat protective paint process provides for outstanding chemical and weather resistance. An optional in-house application of a Copon® coating prevents corrosion and discoloration of your unit, and provides an effective protectant against the effects of weather, moisture, salt air, ozone, sunlight, oils, acid fumes, temperature extremes, and galvanic action.

All ASME units are custom designed to fit your needs. We can provide any size unit you need. Please contact us for more information on ASME heat exchangers.
